Massage therapy is not a substitute for veterinary care. While it can help with recovery from injuries, improve mobility, and support overall health, it does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, infections, or serious injuries.
A foundational approach to mindful equine bodywork:
A holistic approach combining multiple manual therapies - myofascial release, stretching, and joint mobilization - to:
Perfect for horses in training, recovery, or needing balanced wellness support.
Focused bodywork for athletic horses, designed to:
Ideal for competition or performance horses needing consistent muscular care.
A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) method using pressure points along energy meridians to:
Non-invasive and gentle--effective for both physical and emotional healing.
TCM-based therapy combining massage, acupressure, and joint mobilization to:
Useful for performance enhancement and rehabilitation alike.
A gentle technique supporting the lymphatic system to:
Especially helpful for horses in rehab or prone to edema.
An energy-based healing modality that encourages emotional and physical harmony. Benefits include:
Offered to horses and all animals needing non-invasive emotional and energetic support.
A guided, low-intensity exercise that supports:
Customized to each horse's pace, recovery plan, and temperament.
Your horse will likely show signs of relaxation, such as yawning, licking, and chewing. If I'm working on a sore area, they may become tense but will generally relax once that area is treated. They may lower their head, drop their ears to the side, and even nap.
Please have your horse groomed and ready for the appointment. Horses should not be turned out or blanketed at the time of their session.
Ideally, you should be present during the first session, as I'll take a history and gather important information about past illnesses or injuries. You are welcome to attend subsequent massages, but it is not mandatory.
After each massage session, you will receive a detailed treatment report via email. I encourage you to share this report with other members of your horse's team, such as your trainer, vet, and chiropractor.
After a massage session, I recommend hand-walking your horse for about 15 minutes, if possible. Following the walk, your horse should be allowed to rest in their stall with access to a full water bucket. It’s fine to go for a light ride the following day, but be aware that your horse may be a little sore. Since each case can vary, please contact us if you're unsure, and we can let you know if any exercise restrictions are needed.
I accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, and checks. Payment is due at the time services are rendered, and a late fee will be applied if payment is not received within 30 days.
My cancellation policy requires 24 hours' notice. I understand that things can come up and are happy to waive the cancellation fee as long as we receive notice 24 hours in advance.
