Healing through Connection, Learning, and Touch

About

Welcome

I’m Karen — a Holistic Health Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in massage therapy and a lifelong passion for horses. My work is rooted in the belief that true healing begins within, through trust, presence, and connection.

This space is a reflection of that journey — where horses, healing, and wholehearted living meet.

My Story

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the quiet wisdom of animals. Horses, especially, have been both my teachers and healers.

My path began in human massage therapy, but it was my horse Demi who changed everything. Supporting her recovery after surgery opened a new doorway — into equine massage, bodywork, and the subtle, powerful ways touch can restore balance.

Over the years, I’ve studied a wide range of modalities, from sports massage and acupressure to energy work and equine-assisted learning. What I’ve discovered is that healing isn’t about fixing — it’s about listening. To the body. To the breath. To what’s unspoken.

My philosophy is simple: healing begins from within — through building trust and connection.

What I Practice

My work weaves together East and West, science and spirit, structure and softness. I don’t see healing as a one-size-fits-all process, but as a conversation — between body, mind, and spirit.

Some of the ways I share this work include:

  • Equine Massage & Bodywork – supporting movement, recovery, and connection between horse and human.

  • Holistic Practices – acupressure, lymphatic drainage, Reiki, and mindful integration.

  • Teaching & Mentorship – guiding students and horse lovers in the art and heart of touch.

Each path is different, but the intention is always the same: presence, care, and honoring the whole being.

“The Shape of Stillness”
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is stillness — a hand resting gently on a horse’s shoulder, a breath released in unison. In those quiet moments, we remember we are not separate.
